Will Oregon reinstate work requirements for SNAP?

This story about some states reinstating work requirements for able bodied adults without dependents and watching the numbers of recipients drop by as much as 80% begs the question as to what would happen if Oregon did the same? Oregon has broken records for food stamp enrollment by spending millions advertising for able bodied adults with no dependents (college students and elderly) to go on food stamps. With the likelihood of a massive budget shortfall (3 billion dollars or more) in the next two year state budget why should the Oregon taxpayer continue to subsidize those who can get a job or are working under the table for cash?
