Higher Gas Taxes Pay For Bird Watching And Public Outreach
It's no April Fools joke.
After Republicans and Democrats passed a massive, 5 billion dollar transportation package with a smorgasbord of higher taxes and fees we are starting to see new repair contracts awarded. Low and behold what do we find? Same old ODOT wasteful spending, different day.
Below are several recently awarded contracts with thousands for bird watching and public outreach for cutting trees. We will dig deeper to see how much of this waste is really happening so stay tuned.
